Dr. Baohua Yu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of English Language Education at the Education University of Hong Kong. Before that, she worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of New South Wales, research fellow at the City University of Hong Kong, and professional educational researcher at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She has also been involved in teaching English as a foreign language for about twenty years, and published in international refereed journals such as Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Language Teaching, Higher Education and International Journal of Intercultural Relations.
