Dr. Jeffrey Clapp teaches literature in English, and is writing a book about surveillance and democracy in contemporary literature in the United States. From 2017-2019, this research will be supported by a grant from the Hong Kong Research Grants Council.
In 2018-2019, Dr. Clapp will be exploring the possibilities of "Open Annotation in Humanities Education" through a teaching development grant.
In January 2019, Dr. Clapp will help EdUHK's Centre for Popular Culture in the Humanities launch an exciting new literature project, 我城我書 / One City One Book Hong Kong.
