The impact of ISATT: An examination of how ISATT has influenced the teaching, research and professional identities of members in the Asia Pacific Region

This study will seek to examine the personal and professional threads that draw teachers and researchers to ISATT. Through the collection of personal narratives and stories we will try to determine the impact that ISATT has had on individuals as well as identify the aspects that ‘call’ people to ISATT. Members in the Asia Pacific region will be asked to share their narratives in email messages and through dialogic processes using technology; they will respond to one another and prompt ongoing exchanges and further thinking. The findings of this study will shed light on understanding the social, academic and professional connections and mutual influence between members and ISATT as a research community.
