Study of the Metabolism of Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) Using the Recombinant Strains with Desirable Characteristics

The objectives of this study are to access the feasibility of PHAs biosynthesis in recombinant E. coli/pksC using the proposed food wastes, to modify the pre-treatment processes of food waste for PHAs production and to determine the physical properties of the biosynthetic PHAs from different wastes.
