Academic Freedom Under Siege: Higher Education in East Asia, the US, and Australia

This edited book project looks into academic freedom in higher education in East Asia, the US and Australia is under stress. Academic freedom is defined as 1) the freedom to do research and publish the results; 2) the freedom to discuss subject matter in the classroom; and 3) the freedom to write and speak as citizens without institutional censorship or unwanted sanction
