Study on Cultural Differences Related to Online Instructional Features and Design Principles as Perceived by Post-Secondary Online Learners
The purpose of the project is to learn more about differences in the perceptions of university students from different cultures relative to their experiences as online learners. The focus is on design principles and pedagogical features commonly employed in teaching and development of online courses. Particular attention is given to the impact of how information is visually displayed via the computer monitor. The intent is to establish a large data base that will be accessible to collaborating researchers in investigating the area of cultural differences that impact the design and development of online instruction at the post-secondary level.
