Endocrine Disrupting Chemical in Hong Kong Water: Environmental Risk, Public Health Risk, Removal and Public Education
The specific objectives of this project are: (1) to quantify a typical endocrine disrupting chemical (EDC) in the local environment and assess its environmental and health risks; (2) to evaluate the levels of EDCs in primary school students; (3) to develop a novel treatment technology for effective removal of selected EDC in wastewater; and (4) to develop effective learning materials of EDCs for primary and secondary schools, general public education and professional training.
